PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey has denied reports that President Recep Tayyip Erdoan signed a decree to provide $10 million in financial aid to Armenia. The statement came from the Center for Combating Disinformation under the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration, as reported by Factor.am .
The aid was allegedly intended for families of fallen soldiers and citizens facing social hardship. However, Turkish authorities labeled the claims circulating on social media and some media outlets as misinformation.
"The public is strongly urged not to believe disinformation targeting our country and Turkish-Azerbaijani relations. Only statements made by official bodies should be considered," the statement said.
