(251113) -- BRUSSELS, Nov. 13, 2025 (Xinhua) -- Denis Depoux, global managing director of Roland Berger, delivers a speech via video link at the release ceremony of a report in Brussels, Belgium, on Nov. 12, 2025.

Confidence among Chinese companies operating in the European Union has fallen to a six-year low amid political headwinds and rising costs, said a report released by the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU and Roland Berger, a consultancy, on Wednesday.

Despite the weaker sentiment, the performance of Chinese companies showed resilience. In 2024, 53 percent of surveyed companies reported higher revenues, and 40 percent said profits rose.
