PanARMENIAN.Net - A trilateral meeting between the transport ministers of Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan will only take place with Baku's consent, said Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

Speaking to Minval.az , Uraloglu stated that any negotiations in this format fully depend on Azerbaijan's position.

"We frequently meet with Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev. There have also been several meetings between us and the Armenian transport minister. A trilateral meeting will happen only if Azerbaijan agrees. If that approval comes, we are fully prepared, as Azerbaijan's stance is very important to us," Uraloglu said.

The minister also noted that work on opening the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" is progressing at a high level due to close cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

"We have already planned everything needed for the post-peace process. All preparatory work has been completed. We've previously implemented many joint projects, so there's no need to start from scratch," the Turkish official added.

Earlier, Turkish representative Mevlt avuolu told the NATO Parliamentary Assembly that the foreign ministry is consulting with both parties about a possible Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

He expressed hope that these talks would lead to concrete outcomes.

The fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum will be held on April 17-19 next year.
