Bulgaria gets the green light to join the Eurozone

Berlin, SANA- The European Union has approved Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone, making it the twenty-first country in the European bloc.

The German Deutsche Welle (DW) website reported that the European Commission and the European Central Bank announced that Bulgaria has met the necessary conditions to adopt the single currency, starting next year.

Bulgaria joined the European Union in 2007 and pledged at that time to later join the Eurozone.
