PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have reportedly reached an agreement concerning the socalled "Zangezur Corridor" during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Turkey. No official comment has been issued by any of the parties.
According to a post by CaucasusWarReport on X, the deal was made during Pashinyan's oneday working visit to Turkey on June20, and-if accurate-Russia would have no control over the corridor, effectively being excluded.
The agreement is seen as "a major regional development, with the corridor expected to enhance the TransCaspian and NorthSouth international transport routes and bolster Eurasian supply chains and logistical connectivity."
Pashinyan met with Istanbul's Armenian community and emphasized: "There will be no 'Zangezur corridor', only a 'crossroads of peace.' 'Let's open borders and live, allowing others to live,' he said.
