BRUSSELS, June 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 jolted Crete, Greece at 1126 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 34.75 degrees north latitude and 25.75 degrees east longitude.
The GFZ had earlier said that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Crete, Greece at 1126 GMT on Tuesday, and the epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 34.67 degrees north latitude and 25.79 degrees east longitude.
