Jordan and Turkey condemn Israels intervention in Syrias affairs

Amman, SANA-Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman al-Safadi, and Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, condemned Israel's interference in Syria, describing it as a clear violation of international law and Syria's sovereignty.

In a phone call, the two ministers underlined the need to fix the ceasefire in Sweida governorate, protect the States sovereignty, law, and citizens' safety, according to Jordan's Petra News Agency.

They strongly rejected Israel's actions, considering them as actions that pose threat to Syria's security and stability.

Both sides also discussed recent meetings hosted by Jordan, including talks between Jordanian and Syrian foreign ministers and tripartite talks with US envoy Thomas Barrack. They agreed on steps to support Syria in enforcing the ceasefire, ensuring security, protecting civilians, and extending state control across Syria.
