Real Salt Lake and Nashville SC will clash for the first time ever on Saturday night in Sandy, Utah.

The clash will cap a three-game homestand for Real Salt Lake.

Nashville SC face a tall task in their first road match of the season as they attempt to Salt Lake's potent offense. Real Salt Lake (2-1-0, 6 points) is averaging two goals per match through its first three games. Rubio Rubin has been an important catalyst for fostering that high level of production with three goals and two assists this season.

Rubin accounted for Salt Lake's only goal in a 2-1 loss to San Jose last weekend. He scored off a stunning bicycle kick that is a candidate for MLS Goal of the Year. RSL yielded two goals to the Earthquakes in the final 10 minutes, however, to suffer their first loss of the season.

"Going back to the goal, it was one of those moments that I've trained for all my life," Rubin said. "My dad taught me from a young age how to do a bicycle kick, and when Damir (Kreilach) had it I knew that if I just got a good chest on it, I had all the freedom to let it go."

Nashville SC (1-0-3, 6 points) are unbeaten through four matches. The Tennessee club broke through with its first victory by posting a 2-0 win over New England last weekend. C.J. Sapong and Alex Muyl each scored a goal to help Nashville take down the Revolution.

Entering Week 5 of the MLS regular season, Nashville SC are second in the league in total shots (75) and shots on goal (31) and third in expected goals (8.82). Breaking through with a victory over New England gave the club confidence that its offensive aggressiveness is paying off.

"We're relieved to get the victory," Nashville captain Dax McCarty said. "Four-game homestand, we wanted to get a win today, especially against what I think is the best team we've played so far this year."
